The Rust Effect kit from AK Interactive is a professional tool for modellers to easily achieve extremely realistic rust effects on models, miniatures and decorative pieces. Thanks to the use of a real oxidation process, the effect obtained is not just an imitation, but an authentic, naturally formed rust, which gives incredible depth and realism.

The set includes:

special acrylic paint (AK11266) containing metal particles,

and an oxidising agent (AK11268), which reacts with the paint and triggers the rusting process.

The method of use is simple:

Apply the acrylic paint to the desired surface and let it dry.

Then apply the oxidising agent and watch the surface begin to take on a realistic, rusted appearance within a few hours.

The product is suitable for use on plastic, metal, resin and other modelling materials. It will be perfect for creating damaged vehicles, structures, post-apocalyptic figures and any diorama scenes. It is ideal for beginners and advanced artists alike who want to add character and authentic atmosphere to their projects.
