Chaos Spawn are a monstrous manifestation of chaos, so distorted that it is impossible to compare them to any race. Chaos Spawn appear when anyone comes into contact with the dark energy of Chaos. Powerful chaos champions use the destructive power of their gods to transform their enemies into Chaos Spawn. Such an action not only makes the ranks of the demon army grow, but, more importantly, it arouses extreme terror and despair in the ranks of enemies when they see their former comrade and companion transformed into a bloodthirsty and heartless beast.
